I've done it again

I got bored with the old layout so I changed it up again! Don't get me wrong because I love me some Orange and Blue but I just wasn't feeling it on the blog anymore. Variety is the spice of life right? Unfortunately there is a stupid shameless website plug stuck in my blog now but I suppose I can deal with it.

I drug Daryl out of bed nice and early this morning so we could go out for a good breakfast. For some reason I have been craving a big hearty breakfast lately. We went to Mimi's Cafe in Altamonte and it was FABULOUS! We got there before the churchies (no offense to my church going friends) so the place was like a ghost town. I highly recommend the pancakes. The best pancakes I have ever had. Seriously!! And for the first time we used slings for our car seats. These were the neatest little contraptions. I had heard of them from Alan but had never been to a restaurant that actually offered them until today. You need all the space you can get when you are trying to squeeze 2 gigantic car seats into a booth or on a chair.

We also celebrated "Gammy's" bday this weekend. Gammy is my mom. We went out to lunch at one of my favorite places (how convenient for me.hehe) P.F. Chang's! Happy Birthday Mom!

GO GATORS!!

We had a small get together on Saturday to watch the Gators kick Miami's butt! Well maybe I should rephrase that. We watched Florida kick Miami's butt in the 4th qtr. It was exciting for me to be back home in Florida to watch a game rather than be in enemy territory like we were in Atlanta. That was rough last year being the only person in a bar or at a party cheering for my team! And for most of last season I was pregnant so not able to partake in adult beverages like I am now. hehe!!

Here are a few pics of my Gator family. And for the record, I made Daryl wear the blue shirt. I actually made him change clothes because initially he had on some stupid striped shirt and I was like "Oh no I don't think so!! It's blue shirt day for you mister"!!

The boys enjoyed the game for the whole 30 minutes that they were up for it.
Oh and please excuse the spit up stains all over the boys and Daryl. It's a losing battle for us to try and keep up with the spit up.

The World's Largest Peanut Boil

Just had to share the pic to prove that it's really true.

Carter is just like Daddy

Cameron is just like Mommy

Our weekend of "firsts"

We headed back to Alabama to see all of Daryl's family this past weekend. It was the first time the boys had been to see where daddy comes from! It was also the first time the boys traveled in a car for more than 2 hours and it went great. They did great I mean. Our trip home was a little hairy after getting stuck in a huge back up on I-10 for two hours due to a fatal accident. Our 7 hour trip turned into a 9 hour trip that we had decided to make Sunday night instead of Monday to avoid weather and catch up on some rest. Boy did that backfire on us! We got into Orlando at 4:30am. Ya. Nice.

We also got to experience the worlds largest peanut boil. And yes I have been eating boiled peanuts for 4 days straight. Not the greatest way to loose baby weight but darn they are good!

The boys also attended church for the first time and met all of the Richburg family. They spent lots of time with their big cousins Ben and Luke. Aunt Lori and Uncle Bo watched the boys Saturday night so Daryl and I could hang out at our friend Kristy's engagement party without them. We had a great time!

Another first for us was the boys attending their first high school football game. They did ok. It was very hot and VERY loud. People in Alabama take their high school football very seriously. I was having convulsions the whole time as I watched person after person and kid after kid come up and touch and kiss on the boys. All I could think was germs, germs and MORE germs. So far so good on the health front though.

I still haven't heard about the xrays but as soon as I do I will let everyone know.
