TWINS!!!!!!!!!

Oh My GOD!!!! Well we discovered today that we are expecting identical twin boys!! We were completely shocked and had no idea that there were 2 babies growing inside me! Now keep in mind that I am 5 months preggo and have just started showing a little so there was really no reason to think that I was having twins. And the doctor never seemed to be concerned with it either.

I ended up having some bloodwork that came back a little off. Nothing to be worried about but my doc wanted me to have a detailed ultrasound at a neonatal specialist. So we went in today and the tech looks at me and Daryl with this puzzled look on her face. Completely freaks both of us out because we were thinking something was wrong with "the baby". She asks me if this is my first ultrasound as if I should have had one earlier. I of course was like- umm yes why? And at that very moment all of us look at the monitor and we see 2 spinal cords and 2 bodies floating around in there! Daryl shot up out of his seat and screamed out some words that I will refrain from publishing, and my mouth hit the floor. There they were swimming around in my belly!!

So thats probably the biggest news that I have ever gotten in my whole life! We are ecstatic and can't wait to meet out baby boys!!

Dad's 60th Birthday Party

We headed down to Orlando this past weekend for my dad's birthday! I got the pleasure of driving down on Friday with our dogs all by myself and Daryl was able to fly down Saturday morning. I couldn't fly because of a paperwork issue with my maternity leave claim. I just love insurance companies and Doctor's offices and their inability to communicate with each other!!

We all had a great time- and managed to get dad pretty waisted by the end of the night thanks to his private stock of Cabo Wabo tequilla (which I like to call to-kill-ya)

We are anxiously awaiting our ultrasound to find out if baby R is on team pink or team blue!! Cant wait!!

Its Snowing AGAIN!!!

And this time its a lot!! We had a steady heavy snow for about 5 hours today. Took some more pictures. This round was much prettier. And Daryl "tried" to get us with a snowball but he missed.
We added another belly picture. It is so hard to tell but its definitely getting bigger by the day. Its actually showing underneath clothes now. Not a cute bump just yet- but there is a bump.

SNOW!!

Well as soon as I finished my last post it started to snow! I took a few cheesy pics to share just so all my Florida peeps can see how friggin cold it is here. The dogs were sorta confused by the snow. Murphy thought the snow was a toy to chase and Gracie was like "forget this mom, its too cold and Im getting wet"!! Enjoy:)

18 week appt and Hello Maternity Leave!!!!!

I had my 18 week check up today with nothing to report. I did get to hear the heartbeat again which is always exciting!

Our next appt will be on Feb. 11th and thats when I will have my first ultrasound so we will know if its team pink or team blue!! (I need all the fans for team pink to root for us!!) That just happens to be 2 days before Daryl's 30th bday so he should have a nice birthday surprise.

I guess the only other news is that I officially started my maternity leave from Delta this week. I went out about 6 weeks earlier than they require you to. But many F/A's go out right away so I must say that I was very proud of myself for making it this long. 4 months is a long time to be flying around the world feeling like pooh at 30,000 feet!! And I really didn't want to have to get those ugly maternity uniforms!! hehe. So if anyone has any extra bon-bons laying around, send them my way!!

Nothing else to report- It is supposed to snow here tonight. So could someone please remind me WHY we left Florida?????

Lookout Ebay!

We are now officially Ebay sellers as of today. We posted our first item for sale on Ebay! Its Pottery Barn Kids boy bedding if anyone is interested! This is a test run to see if we can double our money and if so then this will become my maternity leave hobby! I figure I am gonna need something to keep me occupied for then next 6 months since I wont be working! And it will be a good way to get some extra $$$ for the upcoming arrival!

No new house for now

You may have noticed I took down the picture of our "new house" because it looks like its a no go. We attempted to close on Monday with the seller still holding out due to an additonal dollar amount that they said he was going to have to come up with at closing. Yes we were sitting there with the lawyer when our agent told us this. SO- our lawyer allowed us to sign the papers without the seller signing with hopes that he would stop being such a stubborn you know what. And as of today - 4 days later still no word from seller whether or not he is in. So we have decided to walk away. Its a great house but there are many others out there and these people were not willing go give us hardly anything we wanted. Its a buyer's market and we really felt like they were in way to much control. Maybe we are being stubborn now but there have been way to many signs telling us not to buy this house. I guess today was the last straw.
Good thing is that we can stay in our apartment for another month. If not we would have been technically homeless- not good since its 15 degrees outside at night these days.
Back to square one on the house front- GGRRRRRRRRRR
